The EGR bellows is an exhaust gas recirculation pipe. It is an exhaust gas purification device for nitrogen oxides (NOx), one of the harmful gases in the engine exhaust.
The EGR bellows system of the engine is set between the exhaust manifold assembly and the intake manifold assembly. The system includes an EGR valve. The EGR valve and the intake manifold assembly are connected to the EGR valve through the EGR outlet pipe. The exhaust manifold assembly passes through the EGR cooling pipe; the EGR cooling pipe includes an EGR intake pipe, and the air inlet end of the EGR intake pipe is connected with the exhaust manifold assembly to discharge exhaust gas. The end is connected to the EGR valve, and the EGR intake pipe is equipped with a cooling jacket with a sealed structure. The EGR valve opens under a controlled condition, and the exhaust gas in the exhaust manifold assembly enters the EGR intake pipe. As the exhaust gas flows in the EGR intake pipe, coolant is delivered to the water inlet pipe through the engine water line. The cooling jacket exchanges heat with the exhaust gas in the EGR intake pipe to reduce the temperature of the internal exhaust gas.
